Google has quite recently dispatched another photograph application for iOS clients called Photo Sphere Camera. It's similar in functionality to the native Android counterpart. Here are some of the things you can do with the official Photo Sphere Camera app for iOS.
- It lets you create 360-degree panoramas just by spinning around in place.
- You can then publish them to social networks or Google Maps.
For people who are not much familiar, Photo sphere was added to native Android camera app. You can take great 360 degrees panoramic images. You just need to stand at one place and tilt or rotate the camera to the objects around you with the help of the dots guidelines shown on your mobile screen.
360 images are not exactly a new idea for smartphones. iOS offers its own "Pano" mode and third-party apps like Sphere, 360 Panorama and the nifty hands-free Cycloramic have offered similar functionality for some time.
The app also lets users share their photo spheres over Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and email, or add them directly to Google Maps, where anyone can view them.
Application can be downloaded from Apple iTunes here
